Guidelines

To ensure that articles meet certain levels of quality (and that we don't duplicate anything), can all editors please ensure that all articles and uploads meet the following standards:

  • Upper case every word in file and article names (eg Honda Hugger, rather than Honda hugger)
  • All uploaded images should be along the lines of "Akrapovic_Exhaust_1.jpg"
  • All articles should have associated categories in them. Here is the current list of categories
  • If you're not sure which categories to add your article to, look at a similar article and match that
  • Likewise, if you're creating a page in a category, such as an exhaust article, look at other examples to ensure that your layout is the same. You could even copy the code from the "Edit" page and just substitute the relevant data in place of the original as required
  • Watch your pages by putting a tick in the "Watch this page" box before submitting your change so that you'll be notified if anyone changes your article. If someone ruins it we can easily undo the changes
  • Ultimately, make sure that your information is helpful and will be easily found by people searching for it. Do not create an article called "Thought this was cool", actually use a descriptive name such as "Rossocromo Hugger"

If you have any questions, pop back on the forum and ask Antnee for help and you'll get it.
